Life at Brush Creek Curlys
This is to keep everyone informed of what is happening at our farm. I hope you enjoy the experiences with us.
Entry for June 18, 2007

Well I feel like I got alot done this weekend.

Saturday I had my mom helping me.  I try to take it easy on her.  In the morning we put up T posts for another small pasture for the boys.

Sunday I had my oldest daughter helping me and we got 2 strands of wire up before we had to stop because her dad was coming over.  After he left we cleaned up all of the wood and metal in front of the mares barn.   After chores Desiree mowed the lawn.

She is such a big help to me.  There are probably times that ask a little to much of her.  I have to remind myself that she is only 13.  :))

Man, it sure does not seem like much when writing it down but it was quit a bit done.  I even got some brush hogging in on Saturday.

Desiree, my oldest daughter, went and volunteered at the Relay for Life (collecting money for cancer) from 8:30 a.m. Friday and got home 8:30 a.m. Saturday.  The poor girl was pretty tired.  She is only 13 and this was a first for staying up all night.

It looks like we are going to go to the Curly Horse Show at the end of the month.  Desiree is trying to decide if she wants to show her horse or go to her uncle's house.  Tough decision.  :))  I am really looking forward to going to this show so I can meet some of the curly people that I have been talking to for the last 4 years.  :))

Well hopefully I can get my fence finished this week and get started back on the stud barn.  It is just killing me that my progress has halted.  But I sure haven't stopped working.  :))

Talk to y'all later
